New Administrator hired
Our new Adminsitrator for the Barker House is Terri Fox. She will be taking over her duties with effect from the 1st of January.

Closed December 24 and 25

The Barker House Book Shop features books on historical, cultural, and economic importance of North Carolina. We also sell a large selection of regional cookbooks, prints, and maps.

Rent the Barker house for your next event
Host your special event at the Barker House. We rent the large living room, dining room, and gallery porch for dinners, receptions, and social events.
